All professionals at Spring Valley Dental maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field. Read on to learn more about our staff's experience and training.

  • Dr. Karen Besler

    Dr. Karen Besler received her dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2000. After graduating, she participated in the general practice residency program at the University of Iowa. This provided her an opportunity to serve a wide variety of patients, both at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and the VA Medical Center in Iowa City.

    Dr. Besler has a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry. Through continuing education, she has expanded her knowledge in cosmetics such as veneers and in straightening teeth with Invisalign® treatment.

    Dr. Besler is also active within the community. She plans to use her vacation time to support overseas dental and medical mission projects throughout the world. She and her husband Jason discovered that their most meaningful role in life is here at home as parents to their young daughter Chloe.

    Office Manager
    Danielle is a graduate of University of Illinois. She enjoys meeting new patients, and spends her spare time fostering dogs and exploring local restaurants.
